What is a Korean Lash Lift?
You may have heard of the Korean lash lift and wondered how it differs. While we’ve used a keratin lash lift for over a decade, that traditional method can struggle on very dense, thick, or straight lashes—natural growth can resist the desired curl. there are two big differences to how a Korean lash lift is done, one being the use of glue - the Koran method is totally gllue-less! the second being the gentle formula, allowing the lashes more time to process which in turn gives a more wow-factor curl!
How the Korean method works:
Instead of immediately setting lashes onto a curled silicone rod, the Korean technique begins by gently relaxing the lashes downward - eliminating the need for use of glueing the lashes onto the shield. This softens the cuticle and allows the lashes to be eased onto the curled shield without pushback from their natural direction. The result is a smoother, longer-lasting lift with a more dramatic, effortless curl.
Why is it called a Korean lash lift?
Originating in Korea, this technique uses a cysteamine-free, exceptionally gentle formula that softens lashes without glue. Initially developed for lashes that naturally grow downward, it works more gradually than traditional perming—softening from root to tip for a smooth, natural uplift.
Who is it for?
